VS.

Wow! Where have i been huh?
the lame version? WORK....
the awesome version? i was exploring numerical equations in multiple forms!

Yea thats right!!!

But i got bored with that. So im back. B A C K ! ! !

I made something for you. Bet you feel special. (your so vain) :P

This is for those of you who think that a pet is your best alternative, alternative to what? well to KIDS!!!

You think your so great with your PET. Because your PET lets you leave them at home alone, sleep in your own bed, and only needs mild amounts of attention, well guess what?! YOUR WRONG!!!

W R O N G ! ! !

so wrong.

how do i know this? because i have both. (nobody warned me. arent you glad you have me to warn you?) I have the PET(S) and have had a few in my many years AND i have the CHILD. and i have come to discover that they are not much different. They both require certain amount of care for different things. But the bottom line is this:

They will drive you insane.

And touch your stuff

and ruin it.

oh, Yes. Yes, they will.

They cuteness fades away. They eat all your food. Make you spend money. And then THEN (here comes the worst part of it) they make you LOVE THEM

L O V E T H E M ! ! !

How DARE THEY!!!!!

Its an attachment for life. Don't do it. Just don't.

If your still not convinced, dont worry. I have a chart! thats right a CHART!

I decided to go with something small. Because naturally as humans we think the smaller something is the less we will have to take care of it. (Because apparently the size of something is the defining factor in amount of care needed)

So before you make any drastic decisions, consult this chart first:

So if your not into hamsters change it with the animal of your choice. It still works the same. Now i didnt put the amount of money to be spent or the amount of food they will waste or how insane you will go within a certain period of time.

I figure if the chart doesnt convince you, you'll find out soon enough.

and i will be right here waiting for you to help you to deal with your lack of sleep and insanity.

and of course to tell you "I told you so"

  1. I wanted to thank you for sharing this information with me. Until I read this, I was in complete denial about how my pets have really been driving me insane. I just didn't want to believe that those cute, cudly, loveable little creatures really were capable of making me crazy. I thought it could be something else, so I lightened my work load, checked out some self-help books from the library, and started listening to nature sounds when I went to bed at night. But nothing worked!!! I still had this gnawing feeling in my stomach and my head continued to spin.
But then I read this blog. Your chart is phenomenal! I'm no longer in denial about my pets. I've come to terms with my crazy. Embraced it, even! I have a whole new outlook on life. I am eternally grateful to you.
